Pontiglio Winery
Pontiglio winery is a family business founded in 2014. “Pontiglio” is a Venetian word meaning “determination”. Our determination stems from 1980 when the vineyards of Corfu were in danger of disappearing, and we decided to continue the traditional way of wine production. The estate specializes in unique grape varieties of Corfu (Kakotrygis, Petrocoritho, Skopelitiko) and produces unique wines. Today, the Pontiglio Winery owns 60 acres of land and continues to preserve abandoned vineyards in the southern part of Corfu.
