Mediterranean Cooking Workshops with Chef Avner Laskin
For over four decades, I’ve cooked, lived, and breathed the Mediterranean way of life. And for more than 20 years, I’ve been sharing that passion through immersive, hands-on cooking workshops. Now, in collaboration with Pontiglio Winery, I invite you to experience the flavors of Corfu in a truly unique setting.
Our workshops take place surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, where nature is not just scenery — it’s the source of everything on your plate. Corfu offers an abundance of honest, vibrant ingredients:
• Fresh-caught fish and seafood brought in each morning from local harbors
• Wild herbs and seasonal vegetables from village gardens
• Extra virgin olive oil, local cheeses, sun-ripened fruit, and handmade bread
These ingredients are the soul of every dish we create — and the reason why Mediterranean food is so alive, healthy, and unforgettable.
You’re invited to choose between two unique workshops:
The Classic Mediterranean Workshop – 85€ per person
Βeginners and home cooks alike, this session is about learning the essentials of Mediterranean cuisine. Together we prepare a variety of classic dishes — simple, healthy, colorful recipes that anyone can recreate at home. We’ll explore how to combine local vegetables, olive oil, lemon, fresh herbs, and seasonal ingredients into balanced meals that reflect the heart of the region. This workshop is joyful, relaxed, and ideal for families or groups of friends.
The Chef’s Workshop – 120€ per person
This is a deeper dive into the culinary treasures of Corfu — designed for passionate food lovers and adventurous cooks. In this session, we’ll use premium local ingredients from land and sea to craft bold, expressive dishes that celebrate the island’s rich food culture. Expect whole fish, artisanal cheeses, island herbs, and fresh produce that change with the seasons. The experience is hands-on, intimate, and filled with insights from decades of Mediterranean cooking.
During harvest period 01/09 -15/10 due to limited space of the winery , the tour it will not take place on the cellar of the winery. Wine tasting it will normally in the sitting area of the winery
